In the years 2004-2005 Abbé Brémond Ensemble musicalized two diary entries of Sylvia Plath and two poems by Nikolaj Stankovič in an attempt to express a fascination with the power of simplicity. The seizure by commonness on the album Les jours is not passive acclamation to banality, penetrated Czech poetry in those years, but determined exploration of the endangered, evanescent terrain of human life, whose steps often only imply the true direction of the path which they actually follow. This also corresponds to the musical concept – noisilence – absorbing contrasting and incongruous sound elements, and reinforcing the ambiguity of an individual testimony. In the songs, the silence permeates with a noise, the melody line breaks and the texts are disturbing by incomprehensibility, whisper and scream. However, the pursuit of the song as the perfect and the simplest (or the most powerful) of the musical form does not lose and its finale is commensurate with the achievement of the goal of the road, from which sole it is possible to understand its true meaning.

Uchvácení všedností na albu Les jours není nebojovným přitakáním banalitě, které právě v oněch letech proniklo českou poezií, ale odhodlaným průzkumem ohroženého, pomíjivého terénu lidského života, jehož kroky často jen naznačují skutečný směr cesty, kterou se skutečně ubírají. Tomu odpovídá i hudební pojetí – noisilence – vstřebávající kontrastní a nesourodé zvukové prvky a posilující nejednoznačnost individuálního svědectví. V písních se tak prostupuje ticho s hlukem, rozpadají se melodické linky a text rozrušují přeřeky, nesrozumitelnost, šepot a křik. Přitom se však snaha o píseň jako ideální a nejprostší (čili nejmocnější) hudební formu neztrácí a její dozpívání je souměřitelné s dosažením cíle cesty, z něhož jediného je možné poznat její pravý smysl.
