Spíše než sbírkou pohádek je Malá pohádková kniha (Das kleine Märchenbuch) souborem stránek potištěných příběhy vyprávěnými neznámým, i když čímsi blízkým, jazykem, a rozmanitými ilustracemi, které spíše svádí z cesty k rozumění, než aby k němu přibližovaly. Svým novým albem se opět snažím uvádět drahého posluchače do svého rodného kraje, tentokrát méně extenzivně a experimentálně než v tom předešlém, zato však snad soustředěněji a celistvěji. Tentokrát jsem se snažil zachytit především jeho vytrácení: čím jiným jsou muži pohádky než tím, čeho se vzdal a k čemu kráčí? Dospělý na ně zapomněl, ale jinoch na ně umírá a muž se v ně snaží proměnit skutečnost. S celoživotním odporem k dospělosti se rozkročen mezi pádem a vzletem vyznávám ze své stálé blízkosti tomuto časnému žánru a připisuji k těm, které nás všechny ještě čisté utvářely, pár svých - ne pohádek, ale ohlasů.

Small book of fairy tales (Das kleine Märchenbuch) is not a collection of fairy tales; it's only a set of pages printed with stories narrated in foreign (but also intimate) language and with different illustrations which more seduce from the way to comprehension than they lead to it. In my new album I try to introduce my kind listener into my native region again, this time less extensively and experimentally than in the previous one, but maybe more integrally. This time I tried to capture its fading especially: What else are the fairy-tales for the man than it what he threw over and to what he goes? The adult forgotten them, but the lad dies on them and the man tries to change reality in them. With a lifelong aversion to adulthood I confess, straddled between the fall and ascent, my still proximity to this recent genre and write to those ones that have shaped all of us a few of mine - not fairy tales, but responses.
