Abbé Brémond Ensemble, avant-garde chamber orchestra dedicated to the idea of pure poetry by Henri Bremond, was found by Ká in 2003 in Prague as the collective creative space forming context for various musical, art and literary works. Main programme was formulated as "poésie pure – free improvisation – site specific – ambient – noisilence – land(e)scapes".
Between the years 2003 and 2007 it published (mostly in private editions) ten records (with Ká's solo electro-acoustic compositions, vocal and orchestral works, free improvisations etc.) and performed a few site specific actions and private concerts. Most of these projects were inspired by individual literary works (Sylvia Plath, Tove Jansson, Andrej Stankovič, Paul Laforgue, Čingiz Ajtmatov, John Milton, Josef Váchal). In 2007 the ensemble abandoned its pursuit and came back in 2014 with re-edition of its whole work and with new musical plans.
This record is the compilation of compositions by Abbé Brémond Ensemble designated for different unfinished projects from the years 2005-2006. We are closing publishing of the archive of ABE by it (only one record - recording of concert Play Váchal - remains aside due the copyright of used lyrics).

Abbé Brémond Ensemble, komorní avantgardní orchestr, původně inspirovaný ideou čisté poezie Henriho Bremonda, založil Ká v Praze roku 2003 jako tvůrčí prostor (kontext či komunu) pro rozmanité hudební, umělecké a literární práce. Hlavní program byl formulován jako "poésie pure – free improvisation – site specific – ambient – noisilence – land(e)scapes". Během let 2003 až 2007 soubor vydal (převážně v soukromých edicích) deset alb a několik dalších zůstalo nevydáno, resp. nedokončeno. Obsahovaly mj. sólové elektroakustické kompozice Ká, vokální a orchestrální práce, volné improvizace apod. Vedle toho orchestr uspořádal několik site specific akcí a soukromých koncertů.

Recordings On the Road Czech Republic

Collective publishing project of a few kindred musicians, flowing outside (on periphery or in underground) the Czech music happening and mostly devoted themselves to alternative rock or avantgarde music. Stylistically diverse is united by a similar attitude to music perceived not as a medium, but as the way, autonomous and eminently participating on our lives, on our road. ... more
