Album Wolves was composed in summer 2005 as one of the main projects of the ensemble in this period. It was inspired by the novel Плаха by Čingiz Ajtmatov, in particular by its passages from the life of the wolves Akbara and Taščajnar. Triptych of large-scale electroacoustic compositions in the spirit of the landscape ambient imaginarily portraits the main wolf characters of the novel, while the third composition (Vlčin) is a stylised self-portrait of the composer. Compositions try to represent peronalities and faces of the wolves variably and vividly, and to situate their bodies into the landscape
endangered by man.
Triptych of the wolf portraits can be understood as the pendant to the elder album Row Deer Tracks. The same idea connects the both records: respect to the nature and its celebration. Deer and wolves have - after all - much in common: they face to human mercilessness. It’s often the man, who destroys the landscape of life by the fire and threatens the kin of the forest creatures; and it is always man who mass-murders hundreds of saigas with the help of off-road vehicles, machine guns and helicopters.

Album Vlci vzniklo v létě 2005 jako jeden z hlavních projektů souboru v tomto období. Inspiroval jej román Čingize Ajtmatova Popraviště, především pak pasáže ze života vlků Akbary a Taščajnara. Triptych rozsáhlých elektroakustických kompozic v duchu landscape ambientu imaginárně portrétuje hlavní vlčí postavy románu, přičemž třetí kompozice (Vlčin) je stylizovaným autoportrétem skladatele. Skladby se snaží variabilně a barvitě vystihnout povahu i tváře vlků a situovat jejich těla do krajiny ohrožené člověkem.
Triptych vlčích portrétů lze chápat jako pendant k staršímu albu Podoby srních stop. Obě nahrávky spojuje táž idea – úcta k přírodě a její oslava. Srny a vlci mají přeci jen mnoho společného: čelí lidské nemilosrdnosti. Často je to totiž právě člověk, který vnáší do krajiny života oheň ničící les a ohrožující rod lesních tvorů; vždy je to člověk, kdo masově vraždí stovky sajg za pomoci terénních vozů, samopalů a vrtulníků.
